This book “Active English for Islamic Studies” is especially designed to fulfill the need of non-English department students in studying English. It is especially designed to broaden students’ knowledge of English language skills and components with the focus of their speaking skill.This book is made up of ten units, each of which consists of six sections namely useful expression, listening, speaking, reading, grammar and writing. The materials in this book provide lecturers with an opportunity to strike a balance between two classroom roles: lecturer-controlled and lecturer monitored.
