— Monolingüe: recoge y define vocablos utilizados en la lengua española. — Diacrónico y sincrónico: por una parte recoge vocablos que han sido recopilados entre el 1999 y 2017 de manera personal (4400 artículos, aproximadamente); y, sincrónico, porque al corpus anterior se sumó alrededor de 600 artículos, recopilados entre el 2018 y 2019, y que se detuvo por la pandemia. — Semasiológico: consigna artículos, ordenados alfabéticamente, una palabra seguida por sus correspondientes significados. — Didáctico: por ser una obra destinada a docentes y estudiantes de los diferentes niveles de educación secundaria y superior.
