Riga: Acta Universitatis Latviensis 17, 1928, pp 17-62.The oroches live in the region of the Sikhete Alin in the Siberian Maritime province and consist of about thousand souls. They are divided in two groups: the proper Oroches and Udihes. There is a probably third group or tribe, the Khayars.
