University of Tokyo, 1999. — 195 p.This is a revised version of the textbook of Estonian grammar published in July 1991 for the 150-hour intensive course of the Estonian language held on July 22 – August 31, 1991 at the Institute for the Study of Languages and Cultures of Asia and Africa, Tokyo University of Foreign Studies. In this new edition, I have added an introductory chapter dealing with statistical data on the speakers of the language and describing the orthography and phonetics.
