Description

Son pocos los estudios de los diccionarios latinoamericanos que se han realizado, y en el Perú tampoco hay demasiados. El glosario de peruanismos que publicó Rubén Vargas Ugarte a mediados del siglo XX supuso un caso también ocasional y casi fortuito de aporte lexicográfico, peculiar por varios motivos aunque no por ello falto de valor descriptivo y hermenéutico. El examen de este repertorio lexicográfico tendrá en consideración tres aspectos: la descripción de las fuentes, y el análisis propiamente dicho de la macroestructura y la microestructura. En otro apartado se describen las marcas lexicográficas empleadas y finalmente se apuntan algunas consideraciones en torno a la ideología que se revela en el discurso lexicográfico y una valoración final.
