This volume provides a general introduction to the later philosophy of Wittgenstein by concentrating on what was to him most crucial: the problem of other minds. The essays are selected, arranged and related in such a way that one may readily follow what it is that Wittgenstein says about other minds in his notoriously difficult major opus, 'Philosophical Investigations'. At the same time, the reader may see how leading analytic philosophers here and abroad evaluate his work on this subject.
