He is also the author of the concise, popular *Our Lady of Fatima* booklet and various short stories and articles in magazines. William Walsh earned a B.A. from Yale in 1913 as well as an honorary Litt.D. from Fordham University. A year later he married Helen Gerard Sherwood, with whom he had six children. Mr. Walsh died in 1949.
