Description

The Kapauku chapter has been moved to the website to accommodate a new chapter in the text on the Roma. This allows instructors to continue to include the Kapauku in their syllabi. The addition of the Roma expands the geographical scope of the book to include Europe, as well as introducing a community whose cultural boundaries are unique. New Guinea is still represented in the volume by the Kaluli chapter. Finally, there is less contemporary ethnographic fieldwork conducted among the Kapauku than among most other groups included in the volume, thereby making it a good candidate for inclusion on the website rather than in the book.
