Very Nice Ways to Say Very Bad Things: An Unusual Book of Euphemisms
Book information
Description
If you are looking for clever ways to insult people without actually saying anything offensive, this is not the book for you. Perhaps a more appropriate title would have been "Lots of ways to say very bad things". This book is full of vulgarities, obscenities and foul language, and while it is interesting to learn the origins and mutations of some of these, they are not "nice" to use in polite conversation by any standard. It is helpful to reference this book while reading some of Linda Berdoll's other books, as many of the more explicit words are not found in your average dictionary.
