Description
Intermediate Matters is a second of three courses for learners of English. It is aimed specifically at intermediate level students published by Longman International Group, 1997, 170 p. The course provides approximately 90-120 hours of classroom material. Each of the twenty units has a clear but flexible structure.Topics are lively and rich in human interest. A wide range of accessible authentic listening and reading material form the basis for extensive skills development. Grammar and functions are presented and practised in an imaginative and personalised way. A Language reference page at the end of each unit provides a concise summary of the main points covered.A new section of communicative activities appears every five units. These exercises are designed to activate the language points presented in the preceding units.
