Description

A mystical Aramaic-English dictionary of 2908 Nazoraic words used by the Gnostic Christ. Each mystical term is given a numerical value according to the art of Gematria (an ancient form of numerology). These terms are grouped according to their numerical value so as to reveal their hidden connection to other words of similar value. Following each definition there is often a commentary on the present day use of the term among modern Gnostic Nazoreans. Like modern Nazoreans, the ancient Naasseni, or Nazoreans, did indeed study such things, and they were adept at discerning deep connections between various concepts based on the numerical value of various words within their language. This contributed to their reputation as diviners of the deep mysteries, as reported by Hippolytus: “The priests, then, and champions of the system, have been first those who have been called Naasseni,…alleging that they alone have sounded the depths of knowledge.”
