This is a 2004 reprint of a 1989 book. The Mao Shi Zhuan-Jian Tongshi is an investigation carried out by the Qing dynasty scholar Ma Ruichen (1782-1853) on matters of the Shijing, a.k.a. The Classic of Poetry or The Book of Odes. It particularly looks into the origin question of the Mao school of the Shijing, and similarities and differences between Zhuan (傳, 传) and Jian (箋, 笺). This edition is in traditional Chinese characters.
