Apart from the fact that the assumption that the human soul is the only form of the body is unsafe—the **Scotistic** school assumes a special forma corporeitatis distinct from the soul— this explanation leads to the disquieting possibility that the skeleton of a dead person might still be on earth while he is already in Heaven with the resurrected body. In modern Theology Durandus’ view was expounded by **L.
