Sanırım 1989 yılıydı. Rahmetli babam ile Avşa adasında kısa bir tatil yapmıştık. O tatilden kalan bu fotoğraf, adanın arka tarafında bulunan Altınkum adı verilen plajda Nikon F401 makine ile çekildi. O fotoğraf bir şekilde yıllar içinde çektiğim diğer fotoğraflardan ayrıştı ve benim için daha kıymetli hale geldi. Inkscape yazılımı ile tanıştığımda bu fotoğrafın grafik formatına uygun olduğuna karar verdim. Psikoloji ve öğrenme kavramları ile ilgili yazılar okurken, o konseptleri bu fotoğrafa uyarlama konusunda yoğun istek duydum. Yapmazsam olmaz tarzında bu düşünceye fazla direnemedim. Çalışmalarımın bir kısmını bu seçkide sizlerin dikkatine sunuyorum.Nevit Dilmenİstanbul, 2015I guess it was the year 1989. My deceased father and I had a short vacation in Avşa island in the Sea of Marmara. This photo is from that vacation. It was taken on a beach called, “Altınkum (Golden sand)” with my Nikon F401 camera. The photo outstanded many pictures that I took over the years. As time went by, the more valuable it became for me. When I learned about a program named Inkscape, I decided that this silhouette was suitable for graphic format. While I was reading about psychology and learning topics, I felt a desire to apply mind concepts to that photograph. I couldn’t resist to that urge anymore.
