I wouldn't recommend buying this book without looking at it first, because it wasn't what I expected from the title. Many of the projects don't look vintage to me. And in case you were wondering, it does not show you how to make the pretty ribbon roses used in the cover piece, although it does show you how to make another fabric flower used in another piece. It also provides instruction and templates for several fabric bags with beaded embellishments, which I wasn't expecting. The photography and illustrations are very good.
