The book was originally issued in 1929 under the patronage of the Royal Institution of Cornwall, The London Cornish Association, The Federation of Old Cornwall Societies, and Gorsedh Kernow (the Cornish Gorsedd). This is the 1974 edition reprinted with arrangement and minor alterations by Lodonek Press and Asherberg, Hopwood, and Crew (London).
