Description

This book deals with the position of women in the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. The USSR has completed the stage of building a socialist society, the first phase of Communism, and has entered its second phase — the building of a communist society. The women of the USSR have lived under conditions of Soviet rule and the building of a communist society for over 50 years and, the USSR asserts, "... among the greatest achievements of the socialist system is the resolved female question". Officially, the women of the USSR have full equality, and the female question is considered to be resolved.
