Description

This intermediate German grammar text is ideal for second-year students or students with at least two years of high school German. German in Review is renowned for its clear grammatical presentations and abundance of exercises. Each of the 14 chapters is devoted to a particular grammar point and subdivided into three levels: the first gives a general discussion of the topic, the second gives specifics, and the third treats exceptions and fine points. A large number of exercises at each level lead students into fluent use of correct German by presenting the same structures and vocabulary in different contexts, gradually increasing in complexity. The two-color format highlights special verb forms and endings, calling attention to noun and adjective declensions.
