Middleware for Network Eccentric and Mobile Applications
Book information
Description
This text offers a good breadth of information of middleware issues specific to mobile and network centric applications. The book is almost like an assembly of different papers/ideas assembled together in a logical form. Some of the topics are simple while other ideas are overarching. There is a good coverage of routing protocols targeted at MANETs and there is also a nice overview of middleware architectures. The book lacks complete depth of knowledge on any one topic and more often than not, there is an abrupt jump from an overview of a topic to complex simulation analysis. That aside, it is a good read for folks interested in middleware for wired and wireless environments.
