Description

This is one of the first full-length books written to present and criticize the ideas of the french postmodern thinker Michel Maffesoli. The author became a notorious postmodern spokesperson in social theory, commenting philosophically the emotional and traditional features present in our time. For him, these elements reportedly regained prominence after Western rationalism lose the hegemony it would have had in the previous period. Here, we report their writings published until 2000, expose his intellectual debts and analyze his ideas, assuming a critical, immanent, and dialectical reasoning.
