Description
Great Events from History is a multi volume series projected to cover from prehistory Jo the twenty-first century. It is a revision and expansion of the twelvevolume Great Events from History (1972-1980) set and also incorporates essays from the three-volume Chronology of European History: 15,000 B.C. to 1997 (1997) and the three-volume Great Events from History: North American Series, Revised Edition (1997). The existing essays are enhanced by the addition of new entries covering a wider geographical area and including more women, updated bibliographies for existing entries, a new page design, a section containing maps, plus succession tables, genealogies, and numerous illustrations.
