On Evolution

'The essay on 'Game theory and the evolution of fighting" was specially written for this book. I would probably not have had the idea for this essay if I had not seen an unpublished manuscript on the evolution of fighting by Dr George Price, now working in the Galton Laboratory at University College London. Unfortunately, Dr Price is better at having ideas than at publishing them.
