The Genius that was Django
Book information
Description
[Revised version.] "A fascinating collection of press cuttings, magazine articles, reviews, photos and eye-witness accounts on the life and times of Django Reinhardt." This dossier is cited as a source by the book "Django: The Life and Music of a Gypsy Legend" (2004) by Michael DREGNI. Scanned in greyscale at 600dpi and encoded as bitonal (monochrome) DjVu; the paper source having been compiled from photocopies, mostly (all?) b&w only, including those even of photographic (greyscale) paper originals. This is a modified version of the file and corrects on printed page 70 the words omitted in the low right-hand corner which words were obscured /cut out by the paper copy's binding. The missing words were inserted by copying from the same text which appears also on printed page 5 in the middle column, fourth paragraph. ("Eureka!").
