Overcoming Bullies: The Third Step on the Native Strength Path
Book information
Description
It is not uncommon to find another person or situation has blocked our path to happiness. It is human nature to want to get our way. People who manipulate others subtly or with force can be called bullies. Overcoming Bullies identifies these people, puts them on the Wheel of Life in order to better understand them, and shows us ways we can stop being affected by them. When we fully understand why these people behave in the ways they do and what they are trying to accomplish we can effectively design a plan when we encounter them. This book will also explain how we become vulnerable to bullies. By learning which weakness we may have that would invite a bully into our world, we can prevent victimization. By examining bullies, we inadvertently see where we ourselves may have been a bully to another. At the heart of this teaching is learning how we have been bullies to ourselves and how we can avoid such activities. It is easy to recognize such behavior when we are calling ourselves names or belittling ourselves, but there are many other examples of how we get in the way of our own progress. Overcoming Bullies will help you to identify these people, understand their motives, discover why you are facing them at this point in your life, and learn how to become indomitable to their methods.
