Few books have been published to assist local and visiting clinicians in addressing opportunities to expand surgical care in low- and middle-income countries. With contributions from international experts and surgical leaders, this book serves as a valuable resource for local and visiting faculty, trainees, and students in their endeavors to deliver surgical services in existing facilities as well as to develop new infrastructures for specialized surgical care.
