Describes Eoscopus lockardi, new genus and species, an amphibamid (Temnospondyli, Amphibamidae) from the Hamilton Quarry, Greenwood County, eastern Kansas (University of Kansas Vertebrate Paleontology locality KU-GRN-01). The quarry is a fossil-bearing limestone of the Topeka Limestone of the Shawnee Group, Virgilian Stage (upper Pennsylvanian).
