A concise, easy-to-use manual of basic Two Dimensional and M-Mode Echocardiography for the non-specialist. Nineteen original drawings demonstrate proper placement of the ultrasound probe for study of specific cardiac and great vessel structures and to show normal cardiac anatomy. Common congenital problems including pulmonic stenosis, ventricular septal defect and patent ductus arteriosus are presented as well as common acquired problems such as pericardial effusion, endocarditis and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.
