441 pages. The book is in English. The monographs include comprehensive scientific information on the safety, efficacy and quality of medicinal plants. Each monographs is in two parts followed by a reference lst. The first part presents pharma copoeial summaries for quality assurance, while the second part includes sections on medicinal uses, pharmacology, safety issues and dosage forms. Thirty different plants are discussed listed by scientific name. Their common name is also listed with some of them having twenty or more common names.
