This is the second book in a two-part series which takes a lively approach to developing writing skills. The book contains carefully graded exercises with colour picture stories designed to motivate younger learners. Writing skills are then systematically developed through four sections, from sentence construction to simple paragraph composition. Additional error correction exercises provide the first step towards the concept of drafting and redrafting. This volume includes a section of more practical themes which help lay the foundations for further PET and FCE studies. Students are also introduced to a wider variety of writing tasks which help them explore the styles appropriate to different text types.
