Strange religious sects are cited, famous night clubs are visited, and the author, well known for his fiction, leaves the reader with a sense of deepened understanding and greater interest. An objective presentation, which should have good local sales, and some interest wherever there are readers to whom the Negro problem is a vital one. Good reading.
