Cornell University, Southeast Asia Program and Linguistic Society of the Philippines, 1972. — 1174 p.John Wolff did considerable research in the 1960s and early 70s on the Bisaya language (of which Cebuano is the dialect of Cebu City, the major center of the Visayas - central Philippines). The Cebuano dictionary was published in 1972 after years of work involving over 100 contributors. Although the language has undergone some changes over the nearly 30 years since it was first published, the Wolff dictionary remains the definitive work to this day. Words are in Bisaya with definition, grammar and remarks in English with English/Bisaya examples. Nearly 1200 pages with addendum. Since this is a Bisaya language dictionary (key entries are Bisayan words), it is not very helpful for translating from English to Bisaya.
