I am learning Silverlight and Expression Blend. I am not a Web Designer so I am starting from the beginning. Victor Gaudioso's book on Expression Blend 3, is a well balanced book, it clearly explains both basic and advanced principals and then supports them with well outlined examples. There were a few areas of confusion, but nothing significant. When I personally overlooked a recommend command, I emailed him requesting a clarification to the example. A return email from Mr. Gaudioso was immediate and his willingness to review my issue was appreciated. I ended up re-re-reading the example and solved my own problem. But again, I really appreciated his direct willingness to help. I would recommend this book (and likely his next one for Blend v4) to any beginning or continuing Web Designer/Developer who desires to learn Silverlight/Expression Blend.
