The Uniqueness of Jesus Christ among the Major World Religions

Compares Christs claims with the claims of all the world's major religions founders . Jesus claimed deity and accepted worship and all titles of God being applied to himself. Buddha claimed an early form of naturalism and a reality that is Impersonal. Popular Buddhism is polytheistic but none of these deities can be said to be "God/s" in a theistic sense. “Superstition, magic, and mythological beings were entirely absent from early Buddhism.” For Taoism nature is naturalistic and Impersonal and their is nothing superior to Tao. Confucius ( Confucianism ) and Lao Tze ( Taoism ) were naturalistic, humanistic, and, “Neither appealed to a God or any other principle outside the process.” Buddha, Confucius, and Lao Tzu , Zoroaster only claimed to be ordinary humans. Confucius and Lao Tzu are best considered as ethical, political, and social teachers, while Buddha apparently taught many spiritual values. But all three of these were probably some sort of proto-naturalists in their overall philosophy. For Buddha, Confucius, and Lao-Tzu, miracles seem simply foreign to their original mission because of the rather naturalistic philosophical outlook. But for almost all of these founders, any texts that might record such miraculous occurrences were either actually written, and/or the remaining copies actually date from, literally hundreds to thousands of years after the founder’s deaths. Compared to the non-biblical founders of the major world religions, only Jesus has miracles reported of him in early sources.( 29 total in Gospels ) Muhammad ( Islam ) claimed to be a prophet of God but was himself only human and would have rejected anyone worshiping him. No miracles are reported of Muhammad in the Qur’an beyond his recording the words themselves, though miraculous reports do appear in the Hadith tradition , Interestingly enough, however, the Qur’an does state that Jesus performed miracles and even specified some of them (Surahs 3:49; 5:110). in ( Judaism ) all Prophets are mere Humans including Moses , Abraham , David or Daniel. Of the Major Religions only Krishna of ( Hinduism ) comes closest to claiming to be a God and alone accepts worship , and communicates with the "Sun-God" But how does a Divine Krishna relate to a sun God ? it is also not clear If Krishna was a human who actually lived he is said to have been a being 5,000 years ago but its not clear if this is meant to be literal or he was a "poetic device" . Hinduism believes many humans have already become divine and all humans may become Divine.None of the actual Hindu texts themselves, including the Bhagavad-Gita, can be accurately dated prior to the Twelfth Century AD! , So even if one accepted the earlier date of Krishna actually living and talking with his first disciple Arjuna some 5,000 years ago, his words were not recorded for approximately 4200 years later! It is questionable if Krishna could be a competitor to Jesus at all. The Evidence of the Resurrection and Christ's foretelling this would happen itself is the best way to Show members of the world religions that Christianity is true .
