Boeings history began in 1916 in the «Red Bam,» now part of the Museum of Flight in Seattle. A biplane called the В & W, a single engine float plane, was the First aircraft built in the original manufacturing building. Boeings current wide-body aircraft manufacturing facility, where the 777 is built, is large enough to house Disneyland along with twelve acres of covered parking. In sharp contrast to the original red barn, the main building in Everett, Washington is eleven stories tall.
