《陋巷集》中曾收录了包括《小汤山》在内的三篇忆旧短章的。文中提到“小汤山属昌平县，是京畿的名胜之一，有一处温泉，泉水形成了一个不小的湖泊，周围还有小河石桥等等景致。在湖的西边有一块像一座小平房的黑色巨石，人们可以上到顶上眺望。湖旁有一些残碣断石，可以认出这里原是晚清民初什么阔人的别墅。解放以后，盖成一座规模很不小的疗养院。”寥寥数笔，勾画的是半个世纪前的小汤山。(Collection of Slum used to include three memory articles such as Xiaotangshan.
