Description

This book is one of the most poorly written technical books I've ever encountered. I don't know who edited this book, but I hope they had a nice nap while the book went directly from "draft" to "published" state while on their watch. Take the index, for instance. (If there was actually anything IN the index you might take it. But there is nothing there.) There are 2 -- count 'em -- 2 entries under the letter M. I think the writers and editors want you to think of the book more as an adventure game rather than a real technical publication. Search under the rocks and in the caves for clues where you can find content. And the writing! Where to start... How about with another book. These authors should take any financial compensation they might have received and spend it on a technical writing course at a community college. Anyone who continually uses the phrase "... is used to ..." doesn't know how to write. I gave the book one star because it is one of the few on the subject. I gave it another star because it was written in English.
