Social and Demographic Accounting
Book information
Description
This book provides a state-of-the-art account of developments and applications of social accounts, a technique for modeling national and regional economies. The contributors address issues of new formulation of social accounts, of applications in economics and demography, and of specification at both national and regional levels. Relationships between social accounts models and computable general equilibrium models of national and regional economies are explored, and interregional considerations are addressed.
