Description

This dissertaton discusses how organizatons can use enterprise architecture (EA) artfacts to adapt to the rapidly changing digital landscape. EA artfacts are documents that communicate decisions, diagnostcs, and facts about an organizaton’s current, transitons, and future states to improve the alignment between business and informaton technology (IT) stakeholders. Moreover, the EA is the organizing logic of people, processes, data, and technology. We emphasize the importance of dynamic capabilites, which enable organizatons to adjust to market changes, and EA capability, which helps design and develop organizatonal architecture. Our research context concerns the relatonship between EA approaches, specifcally its documentaton practces, digital transformaton, and dynamic capabilites.
