Description

The Old Farmer's Almanac was originally published as The Farmer's Almanac when first published in 1792. In 1832, The publication's founder and editor, Robert Bailey Thomas, added the word Old into the title before dropping it in 1836. After Bailey's death, John Henry Jenks was appointed editor and in 1848, the title was permanently changed to the one seen on the cover of this issue. This issue is number 82, published by Brewer & Tileston in Boston.
