When I Don't Desire God is a great follow to Piper's Desiring God. Piper gets more practical in this book than in some of his others and he answers the tough questions that Christians face in their effort to be God centric and find joy and peace in their relationship with him. I particularly liked the fact that Piper seems to truly understand the problems that we have in every day life. He lays out great answers to these questions with a humble and understanding attitude. If you've read Piper's other books and want to receive better insight on how to implement what he writes about, this is a great book to read. I recommend When I Don't Desire God to find your joy again.
