Jones with your editor, and Volume 44 (literature 1979-1987) by L. I. Belen'kii. A particular feature of this overview is its coverage of the Russian language literature as well as Western sources.Heinrich Wamhoff and Jorg Dzenis discuss the synthesis, structure, and reactions of uracils with particular emphasis on their utility in heterocyclic synthesis.Finally, S. Arai and M. Hida review polycyclic aromatic nitrogen cations containing bridgehead (ring fusion) nitrogen atoms. The chemistry of quinolizinium salts was covered by Thyagarajan in Volume 5 of our series back in 1965, and although other partial reviews are available, we now have for the first time a modern comprehensive treatment.
