The bi-annual (not biennial) series explores the history and archaeology of the periphery of the Graeco-Roman world, concentrating on local societies and cultures and their interaction with the Graeco-Roman, Near East, and early Byzantine worlds. Here are a continuation of an article on the Iron Age in the Mediterranean, contributions to the continuing Al Mina debate, a study of local schools in Thracian Toreutics of the fourth century BC in a broader context, and a chronology of cultural transformations in the basins of the Upper Dneiper and Western Dvina in the first to fifth centuries AD.
