If you use e glass - read lot cheaper - and e glass suitable polyester , you must use least % 40 more . use copper powder + epoxy resin as your anti fouling. Support bottom and rudder and mast area well. Use 5 cms thick wooden pieces to support the boat well. Tighten the weight below well. Always carry two times more food and water than your calculation. You can insulate the top and sides with polyurethane foam againts the cold and sun. If you dont have money to build boat safely , dont build the boat , collect money.
