Three Contributions to Elimination Theory
Book information
Description
In elimination theory systems of algebraic equations in several variables are studied in order to set up conditions for their solvability as well as formulas for calculating their solutions. In this Ph.D. thesis we are concerned with the application of known algorithms from elimination theory lo problems in geometric modeling and with the development of new methods for solving systems of algebraic equations.
