No livro The World of Fanzines, Wertham, que anteriormente havia posto em xeque a idoneidade dos quadrinhos com seu livro Seduction of the Innocent (1954), se redime de certa maneira, ao afirmar que os fanzines são 'válidos e construtivos'.
