Volume I. — Provincia Autonoma di Trento Servizio Beni Culturali Ufficio Beni fucheologici, 2001. — pp. 59-80.A study of European C14-dates of Bell Beaker assemblages results in two important insights: first, the differentiation of Bell Beaker presence into subregions with an earlier and a later appearance of the beakers, where the earlier ones are probably restricted to the southern areas of the European Bell Beaker distribution. Second, radiocarbon dating makes possible the identification of the contemporaneity of pan-European and subregional Bell Beaker styles in the two regions.
