Description

The Yearbook of Phraseology will be the preeminent periodical publication in phraseology with a high reputation among scholars in the field. It will publish only articles which make a significant contribution to the field. It will facilitate dialogue between Continental and English-speaking scholars in the field of phraseology and build a comprehensive understanding of the many facets of phraseology and thus establish the field on the global scale. Phraseology is the study of the phrasal lexicon of both native speakers and languages, and the study of the usage of phrasal lexemes. Phrasal lexemes are distinguished from other lexemes by having syntactic structure rather than word structure. As lexemes, they can be studied for both the former properties and their usage properties
