Between his busy repping schedule and offering support to Barry who has his hands full with a new baby whilst being driven to distraction by his vile in-laws, Victor barely has a second to indulge in his new improvised outdoor spa. As football fever takes over the village, Victor reflects on stomping the grapes and the unexpected discovery he made in Macclesfield, while a new villager chivvies the unenthusiastic ex-pats to join in lots of jolly group activities. Guzim becomes attached to a tortoise causing Victor to panic that it may end up being inadvertently responsible for a bout of food poisoning, something no retired public health inspector would ever live down. The locals are baffled by Victor’s strange foreign habit of eating potato skins, but it is Kyria Maria’s macaroni and meatballs that lead to Victor suffering an unfortunate episode, forcing Barry to step into the breach to lead a party of German tourists in Greek dancing and plate smashing.
