Discusses the philosophy of martial arts and explains how the discipline of this sport can change one's outlookI have read some books about the martial arts that are total "how to" books that insist the only way is "their way". The beauty of this book is that is doesn't do that. It is written in easy to understand language and is refreshing in the manner in which the author speaks to you. The ideas and philosophies can be applied to any aspect of your life - not just a martial arts practice though to be sure it is a book written with the martial artist in mind. The author obviously loves his subject and that reflects through to you the reader. I enjoyed the book and can definitely recommend it to others - regardless of whether you have a passing interest in the martial arts or are a veteran of many years practice.
