Description

The work addresses Kant’s Theory of Synthesis, that is of decisive importance for Kant’s critical endeavor, to found experience as a combination of understanding and sensibility, of concept and intuition. In the light of this elementary connectivity, the specific actions of synthesis are isolated and examined in their relatedness to each other. Thus shows that Synthesis in Kant’s Philosophy is still not obsolete. Kants Theorie der Synthesis hat entscheidende Bedeutung für sein kritisches Unterfangen, Erfahrung zu begründen als eine Verbindung von Verstand und Sinnlichkeit, von Begriff und Anschauung. Vor dem Hintergrund dieser Elementarverbindung werden die spezifischen Handlungen der Synthesis isoliert und in ihrer Bezogenheit aufeinander untersucht. Damit kann gezeigt werden, dass „Synthesis“ in der Philosophie Kants auch heute noch nicht obsolet ist.
